The Dream Makers: Short Film Contest
CUPRA, in collaboration with acclaimed director J.A. Bayona and the prestigious Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC), has launched “The Dream Makers” initiative. This programme includes two exciting competitions aimed at discovering and nurturing young cinematic talent.
Participants have the chance to win substantial awards including funding for their short film production and a full scholarship for film studies at ESCAC.
Announcing Winners at the Sitges Film Festival
The winners of the short film contest are announced at the Sitges Film Festival, which takes place annually in October.

The Short Film Contest: Key Details
Target Audience: Young filmmakers aged 22 to 30
Submission periods typically occur in early June. Keep an eye out for updates on our official channels.
A distinguished jury shortlists ten innovative scripts, ultimately selecting one winning project. The grand prize includes the production of the short film.

The Dream Makers: Film Studies Contest
Target Audience: Young filmmakers aged 17 to 21
Presentation Event: July at CASA SEAT
