CUPRA x FC Barcelona
CUPRA is delighted to announce the renewal of its global alliance with FC Barcelona as the Official Automotive and Mobility Partner and the Official Car of the renowned football club. This extended partnership, which will span the next five seasons up to 2029, promises to broaden CUPRA’s support to encompass all of FC Barcelona’s professional sports teams.
Sponsoring FC Barcelona Beyond Football
The partnership renewal goes beyond football, expanding CUPRA’s sponsorship to FC Barcelona’s basketball, futsal, handball and roller hockey teams until June 2029.
The announcement was made at CUPRA’s headquarters in Martorell, with CUPRA CEO Wayne Griffiths and FC Barcelona President Joan Laporta unveiling the agreement.
Rooted in shared values since 2019, the partnership aims to inspire the world from Barcelona. The event was attended by footballers Robert Lewandowski and Jana Fernández, basketball player James Nnaji, futsal player Miquel Feixas, handball player Domen Makuc and roller hockey player Matías Pascual.

CUPRA shall continue as a global partner and will feature prominently as one of the official sponsors in the Espai Barça initiative, which encompasses the redevelopment of FC Barcelona’s facilities in the Les Corts neighbourhood of Barcelona and at the Estadi Johan Cruyff in the Joan Gamper Sports City in Sant Joan Despí.
