Race of Champions 2025
CUPRA is partnering once again with Race of Champions to bring its electrifying performance to Australia for the first time.
What is Race of Champions?
Race of Champions is a knockout competition bringing together some of the world’s greatest drivers to battle it out through a series of head-to-head races in identical cars, in a bid to be crowned ‘Champion of Champions’.
When and Where?
On 7-8 March, Sydney’s Accor Stadium will be transformed into a spectacular 1km-long side-by-side asphalt racetrack as names like Sebastian Vettel, David Coulthard, Valtteri Bottas, Travis Pastrana, Kurt Busch, Sebastien Loeb and Jamie Whincup compete for glory.
CUPRA at Race of Champions
Whereas the CUPRA Tavascan Extreme E Concept was showcased at the most recent event in Sweden in 2023, CUPRA will bring the production version – the CUPRA Tavascan, the brand’s first all-electric SUV coupe, soon to launch in Australia – to the centre of Accor Stadium.
CUPRA’s Commitment to Performance
“At CUPRA, we are proud to join another edition of Race of Champions as a partner, reinforcing our commitment to electrification and performance. We are delighted to help bring the event to the Australian audience for the first time, while showcasing the CUPRA Tavascan, our first all-electric SUV coupe – ahead of its launch down under”, said Ben Wilks, Director at CUPRA Australia.
Attendees can have their own shot at glory, with CUPRA offering the fan who sets the fastest lap at its Forza Horizon 5 x CUPRA Tavascan challenge a Premium Merch Kit.
The 33rd edition of The Race of Champions will include superstars from F1, World Rallying, Supercars, Rallycross, NASCAR, Extreme E and Dakar – including a healthy dose of Australian talent.
