Marset x CUPRA: Milan Design Week 2024
CUPRA and Marset are collaborating for a second time since the successful launch of the Marset x CUPRA Chispa lamp in 2021, which was displayed at the MoMA Store in New York City.
Continuing our partnership with Marset, we’re introducing a special edition Dipping Light in a colour palette that echoes CUPRA’s bold personality and subversive spirit – this time at Milan’s CUPRA City Garage during Milan Design Week 2024.
The Marset x CUPRA Dipping Light
Following on from the successful Chispa lamp, the rechargeable battery-powered Marset x CUPRA Dipping Light sparks emotions with a mesmerising colour gradient and an ethereal glow.
Marset first created its popular piece with an artistic performance by the designer Jordi Canudas, hand-dipping the glass shade several times in paint. This process forms captivating concentric circles that soften the emitted light, creating an enchanting effect.
The new colour scheme for the Marset x CUPRA Dipping Light is representative of CUPRA’s adventurous spirit. It features a striking copper lamp base, a robust and distinctive material incorporated throughout CUPRA’s design language.

The design is representative of our shared aesthetic values with Marset and CUPRA's unconventional vehicles. The lamp’s high-gloss surface reflects CUPRA’s refined sophistication when the light is off. When on, the varied paint shades diffuse the light while creating a “fade” effect reminiscent of CUPRA’s DarkRebel Showcar, the first car fully created in CUPRA’s virtual space and based on 270,000+ configurations created by the CUPRA Tribe.
The lamp features three brightness settings and is controlled with its understated switch. At its highest brightness, the lamp can operate for up to five hours and at its lowest brightness for up to 20 hours.

CUPRA x Marset Dipping Light Launch Date
The Marset x CUPRA Dipping Light lamp made its debut at the CUPRA City Garage in Milan on April 16th, 2024, during the Milan Design Week and at the Marset Milano showroom in the Brera district. It will be available for purchase in Marset, CUPRA online and in retail stores starting from July 2024.
