CUPRA CONNECT packages with in-car store offers

CUPRA offers its customers an in-car store that gives them the possibility to renew their CUPRA CONNECT packages. It shows customers personalised offers, that will include integration with third-party sellers. Some examples are data packages for Internet Radio, which will be available through Cubic.

The store will give you the availability to buy data plans for the integrated SIM of your vehicle, so you can easily add more GB while on the go. One benefit of this is that there are no roaming charges when using this function of the CUPRA in-car store.

Only the Primary User has access to the in-car store. A registration with CUPRA CONNECT is required, as well as enrolment in the vehicle.

Note the in-car store feature is only available for Navi Systems.

The in-car store makes the lives of the customers a lot easier. When the primary user logs in and has his/hers registration with CUPRA CONNECT done, the content in the CUPRA CONNECT will be fully accessible out of the vehicle (this includes renewals and additional packages).

To prevent abuse and unintended use, the in-car shop is only available for the Primary User to use. This means that if a secondary user or a logged-in user tries to use it and make purchases, they won’t have access to it.

The Primary User will have access to a wide variety of services, such as CUPRA CONNECT. We expect the list of available apps in the in-car store to continue expanding.

For you to use the in-car store, you would not only have to be the Primary User of the vehicle, but you would need to have either “Share My Position”, “Use My Position” or the “No Position Data” mode turned on. If you try to use the shop with the “Maximum Privacy Mode”, you won’t be able to.

Access to this service is easy. Go to the infotainment system and click on the “Store” icon. You cannot access it through the My CUPRA app.

The in-car store works from all countries that are included with the infotainment system, including Germany, Belgium, Austria, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, etc. If your country isn’t eligible to use the CUPRA in-car store, you can call the CUPRA Customer Support Centre and ask them for assistance.

For Leon and Formentor vehicles produced before CW48/20, an SW update is needed for the user to get access to the store. The available updates can be seen in the notifications centre.
