Breakdown Call

Breakdown Assistance a Service Mobility of CUPRA

Our vehicles are all about safety. That’s why they can call emergency numbers and provide the authorities with your location immediately after an accident happens.

The sensors of the vehicle can detect collisions that aren’t hard enough to trigger the airbag, and they can also send information automatically if the car breaks down, provided you have CUPRA Service Mobility included.

When you press the breakdown call button in the infotainment system, our CUPRA breakdown centre gets notified immediately and receives a full analysis of the vehicle's data. This includes all the information from the sensors and warning lights, along with the GPS coordinates of the vehicle.

You, as a user, will have the ability to decide what further steps need to be taken. For example, there is an option for a tow truck to be sent to the location and move the vehicle. If you want this to occur, the GPS coordinates will be sent to the driver of the tow truck so they can find your vehicle. If the accident is severe, the call service will be triggered automatically.

These functions provide a lot of benefits for the drivers and passengers of our vehicles. The sensors can detect the severity of the accident and can notify the CUPRA call centre quickly. Our agents will be able to give accurate information depending on the condition of the vehicle and the data that they receive from the analyses. This will help them advise you if you need to wait for a tow truck or if the vehicle will be able to make it to the nearest service centre.

If an accident happens, there is no need for you to check the vehicle and do an inspection on your own. Instead, all of the data is sent to the CUPRA representatives and you can just wait for their instructions. Moreover, the system automatically chooses the right call centre depending where you are located.

Call for Roadside Assistance Directly with CUPRA

In the case of a severe accident, the CUPRA System may call the breakdown centre on its own. This means that even if the driver and the passengers aren’t able to get out of the vehicle, or worse, our representatives will immediately be notified and will take appropriate actions.

If there is a breakdown, you would be able to call them through the infotainment system by using the phone option, or you could call them directly through your mobile phone. However, this is not available if you choose the “Maximum Privacy” mode.
